What We’re Up To . . . April 2010

Ganz Wolkenbreit & Siegfeld @ 3:44 pm

Lianne Pinchuk persuaded a Federal Court to dismiss a counterclaim asserted against our clients for tortious interference with a real estate contract. This is the second time that the Court has dismissed this claim.

Rob Ganz has successfully defended a claim brought against our client based on a promissory note on the ground that other business transactions were so inextricably intertwined with the note that they provided a defense to the claim.

Conor Brownell has settled two large and complicated cases on behalf of his contractor clients with extremely favorable outcomes.

Beth Carey is working with several clients on long-term succession planning arrangements.

Jed Wolkenbreit has recently obtained a successful result for a client in a matter before the NYS Office of Professional Medical Conduct and has been involved in the restatement of partnership agreements for several clients.

David Siegfeld has settled an estate litigation matter involving a fiduciary accounting and an internal family dispute which finally allowed this estate, which had been open since 1998, to close.
